Samsung SER 6500
SAMSUNG SER 6500 | I have a Samsung SER 6500 cash register, and I have a tender key programmed as "gift certificate." when someone gives me $4 worth of "gift dollars" and the item costs $3.50, the gift certificate key does not allow me to type in a higher amount so that a cash back amount appears on the LED, it only lets me type in or accept the exact gift certificate amount. How can I program it to accept an amount over the subtotaled amount, as it does with the "cash" tender key?
Also, how do I program an item key to be non-taxable?
SAMSUNG SER 6500 | Hello there!
I'm from Germany and I bought one SER-6500. I managed to programm the users, texts on the receits, but I miserably failed putting items on fixed keys on the keyboard. Could you tell me how it works, the manual (though in German) is in that respect a complete mistery to me (the translator should be shot!).
I want to put items on the keys, which have 16% VAT, which should be shown on the receit, and of course, I have to name them.
Thank you very much
SAMSUNG SER 6500 | Could I follow your directions for 6500? Register belongs to a friend. I told her I would look for direction to change business name on receipt. Still prints out previous owners name but they have been gone for over 4 years. Is there a book that would give direction for reprogramming other functions as well? Thanks in advance for any info.
SAMSUNG SER 6500 | The paper roll on the detail printer ran out while printing the end of day report. I replaced the paper but all I get now is an E-MODE message and a continous beep. I have tried an init clear, this usually fixes problems caused by end of paper but after the clear has completed the E-MODE message appears again
SAMSUNG SER 6500 | Thank you for answering my last question about Sam65 barcodes -- I have solved the problem.
The system I have "inherited" as it is currently set up has Access collect Sam65 poll information each day from the cash register. This was set up by a volunteer who is no longer affiliated with our organization and it needs some design maintenance. Do you have any advice how I might find a consultant who is familiar with Sam65 in a small town?
